I dugg this up a while ago. I don't know if philosophers are so much geniuses and innovators as they are just good at phrasing metaphysical observations that all us of entertain at some point in our lives. Or maybe the impact these philosophers have had on our lives is so great that their ideas have penetrated our psyche to the point where we are unaware of it happening.
